A further outstanding Air Show was arranged for the 2008 Dawlish Carnival on 14 August 2008. This years event commenced soon after noon and continued on until 17.20 with a staggering 13 displays. Many people will have different highlights of the day, but without any doubt the most impressive displays were by the RAF Typhoon, which saw virtually every person in the area just stop and look and by the stunning RAF 'Role Display' consisting of four Tornado fighters, two Hawks and an E3C 'Sentry (AWACS) aircraft
