Santa Claus will be on board two London Midland 'Santa Specials', in the run up to Christmas, when Santa will be on board giving out presents to young passengers.

On Saturday, 15 December Santa will be on the Marston Vale line from Bletchley, travelling back and forth from 09.59 from 13.31. The following Saturday, 22 December , he will be on the Abbey Line, starting from St Albans Abbey at 10.52, travelling back and forth between St Albans and Watford Junction till 13.30.

The two events are organised by the Marston Vale and Abbey Line community rail partnerships respectively.

The festively decorated train will also have a couple of balloon modellers and face painters on board for entertainment as Santa as his helpers give out small bags of presents to children.
