Freightliner has announced their first Nameplate Auction for 2008.

This batch includes the first seven nameplates from the now decommissioned Class 57 locomotives. They are; Freightliner Pioneer, Freightliner Phoenix, Freightliner Evolution, Freightliner Quality, Freightliner Excellence, Freightliner Reliance and Freightliner Bond.

Interested parties may table their offers in the form of a sealed bid on Freightliner’s website. For more information, including photographs and a description of the plates please visit http://www.freightliner.co.uk/auction/auction.aspx. The closing date for bids is Friday 29 February 2008.
