Chiltern launch Rail Information Online

Chiltern has announced the roll out of an online service which will provide real time retailing information to staff in ticketing offices and customer services.

Rail Information Online is a web service which takes information from several sources to provide an easily accessible information for retail and customer services staff.

The ease of use and comprehensiveness of the information means that customer enquiries can be answered swiftly and accurately and will increase the volume of enquiries customer services staff can handle.

Rail Information Online is regularly updated to make sure that the information staff pass on to passengers is fully up to date.

Welcoming this new development for Chiltern Railways, Jenny Payne, Customer Services Manager said: ” Chiltern Railways is dedicated to providing high quality customer services. This new software will ensure that we can answer passengers’ enquiries even more quickly and so reduce their waiting time.”
