* 47375 5Z86 06.55 Gloucester to Landore formed of barrier coach 6330. Then loco powered 5Z77 10.15 Landore - Laira formed of barrier car 6330 and dead powercar No. 43148. 47375 returned light to bristol TM
* Colas No. 47727 powered 6Z47 10.00 Effingham Junction - Hinksey formed of track machines, loco later returned to Woking
* Day of Freightliner 66s in Devon and Cornwall. For what is thought to be the first time three Freightliner Class 66s have operated west of Exeter on the same day. No. 66620 was operating the Burngullow Bardon train, 66502 worked west with hoppers from Neasden Junction (also bound for Burngullow) and 66622 was working the Moorswater to Westbury cement
* The second Grand Central HST set formed with PCs 43068 and 43084 with passenger set HT02 was seen passing York on a test run to London
* 57306 powered 1S96 16.26 Willesden PRDC - Shieldmuir
* Cotswold 57005 reported failed at Craigentinny and unable to work to Brush Barclay, Kilmarnock under its own power. Ex works Advenza Freight-liveried No. 57006 sent to collect it.
