* 47812 operated 0Z47 08.27 Derby - Coalville - Derby
* 37401 operated Warringtn - Crewe Works and then Crewe Works to Gresty Lane before powering 6F31 Crewe - Warrington
* 37417 operated 6Z80 09.43 Bescot - Long Marston and return
* The VSOE formed 1V80 09.25 Victoria - Bristol and 1O92 15.40 Bristol - Victoria - motive power was 67023
* 6M38 05.00 Portbury - Ironbridge (running late) powered by 66164 slipped to a stand on the Lickey incline. Rear end assstance by 66056 and 60092 failed to shift the train and No. 66214 was eventually attached to the front. Major concern surrounded the possibility of the train slipping backwards and derailing on catch points which were closed by Network Rail to reduce the risk of a problem
* Cotswold 57005/006 + 47237 operated light Gloucester - Derby, the two 57s then continued to Craigentinny, from where No. 57006 worked light to Hunslet-Barclay of Kilmarnock for repainting
* Following a long period out of use (July 2007) DRS No. 66411 'Eddie the Engine' returned to work, powering 4Z43 Carlisle - Haverton Hill and return
