* Colas 47 47727 worked 6Z47 10.20 Bescot - West Ealing, before running light to Tavistock Junction
* Cotswold No. 57005 powered 0Z98 09.10 Gloucester - Long Marston, then 6Z98 12.40 Long Marston - Bescot
* 47812 performed drivers route training runs in the Derby area
* Cotswold No. 47200 was hauled by 47375 from Gloucester to Thomsons of Stockton for scrap
* Many routes in the Northern part of the UK have been effected by flooding, including the closure for a time of the WCML in the Preston-Lancaster area
* Off lease stock move operated from Old Oak Common to Alstom, Oxley formed of Class 180s Nos. 180112 and 180114
* The first two standard class only Class 450 'Desiro' sets entered traffic on South West Trains. Sets Nos. 450548 and 450555 have been modified by Siemens at Bournemouth depot and have had the first class removed from the intermediate vehicle, plus alterations to seating in door positions to increase passenger figures. A total of 28 sets will be modified and a full report and pictures of the work will be published on TRC later this week. The modified sets are booked to operate on the Waterloo-Windsor line on the following departures: Waterloo 07.28, 09.58, 12.28, 14.58, 17.28, 19.58, 22.28. Windsor departures 06.23, 08.53, 11.23, 13.53, 16.23, 18.53, 21.23
