The second of the Glasgow area 1972-design high-density sets No. 314202 is seen in 'as delivered' condition painted in blue/grey livery and sporting the short lived 'GG Trans-Clyde' branding. CJM
After the adoption of orange as the Strathclyde PTE livery, the Class 314 fleet were soon repainted. Set No. 314212 is seen departing from Glasgow Central. In common with all 1972 design EMUs, the two driving cars are power vehicles, with the middle vehicle being the pantograph/transformer coach. CJM
From the late 1990s when Strathclyde Passenger Transport decided to introduce a new livery of maroon and cream, the Class 314s were some of the first sets to emerge in the new colours, shown here on unit 314206 arriving at Glasgow Central. CJM
