| Designed for North Clyde operations in the Glasgow area, the 22 Class 320 sets were built at BREL York and emerged in Strathclyde Transport orange livery, as seen here on sets 320221/222 at York Works before delivery. Externally these units are the same as the Class 321 and 322s. This fleet are however, three car formation and set out for standard class only. CJM |

| The intermediate vehicle of the Class 320 fleet is the power car, it is also fitted with the power collection pantograph. Car No. 63028, from set No. 320308 is illustrated. On sets which are named, he plates are fitted on the lower bodyside below the pantograph area. CJM |
