The Eurostar train sets are some of the most impressive formations which operate in the UK. Running at full line speed of 300km/h (186mph) SNCF owned set No. 373201/202 is seen mid-way between Calais and Lille on the TGV Nord line with the 09.23 Waterloo-Paris on July 6, 2001. CJM
In the UK, North Pole depot in West London is the home for the Eurostar sets, with units owned/operated by Eurostar UK, SNCF and SNCB receiving maintenance as well as the sets hired to GNER. Set No. 3101 is seen pulling out the running shed. The entire length of each driving car and the leading end of the attached passenger vehicle contains power and traction equipment. CJM
After the regional Eurostar services were abandoned, some of the spare shortened Eurostar sets were leased to GNER for use on Kings Cross-York 'White Rose' services. The sets were repainted into GNER livery and received some minor modification work to the traction and catering equipment. Set No. 3304 is seen arriving at Kings Cross. CJM
