	Class 456

The 2-car Class 456 sets, introduced for NSE South Central operation are based on the Class 319 front design, but incorporate some rather ugly multiple working attachments on the front end, these were needed to allow multiple operation with Class 455 stock. Set No. 465003 is NSE livery is seen on the test track at BREL York. The front end equipment consists of a main reservoir pipe on both sides and a multiple control jumper and socket. CJM
