	Class 482

Set Nos. 482503/505 stand on the ABB Derby Litchurch lane test track just prior to delivery to West Ruislip for commissioning. These state of the art sets were a far cry from the 1940 W&C stock which it replaced. The vehicles are finished to a high standard with transverse seating and huge amounts of standing room. Large opening double leaf sliding doors were provided on each vehicle. Fully automatic front end couplers are fitted, light clusters contain a marker/headlight on both sides plus a tail light and a hazard light. CJM
