BNSF7519, BNSF7520, BNSF7518, plus old Dash 9 No. BNSF5457, cross Woodford Trestle adjacent to the Tehachapi Loop in Southern California on 6 May 2007 powering a Willow Springs - Stockton stack service. This was the three ES44DCs first revenue duty since delivery.

After final preparations at Bo' Ness, where the stock arrived on 15 March, The Royal Scotsman was collected by No. 47854 on 30 April 2007, when it headed to Edinburgh Waverley to form the year's first outing, train 1H79 to Keith via Dundee as part of a 'Classic' tour. 47854 is seen passing Saughton, Edinburgh.

The Swanage Railway Beer Festival Weekend took place between 11-13 May 2007 with a number of visiting locos, including 'Western' No. D1015. The loco makes a fine sight as it heads away from Corfe Castle with a service for Swanage. on 11 May.

With Airdrie-Bathgate given the go-ahead, and the recent termination of the Washwood Heath - Bathgate 'Cars' ending an almost 50 year history of the 'Bathgate Cars' this view taken on 7 April 2006 is now history. No. 60062 is shunting traffic into Bathgate IFTT as a service from Edinburgh arrives at the station.

On 17 May 2007, two off-lease Class 442s Nos. 2410 and 2406 were used for Freightliner driver training between Eastleigh and Basingstoke. The pair rapidly approach Winchester running as 5Z42 10.47 Eastleigh RC to Eastleigh RC (via Basingstoke Barton Mill Sidings).

Two loco-hauled extra services operated from Exeter St Davids to Paddington and return on Sunday 20 May 2007, taking Exeter City supporters to Wembley. The trains were lightly loaded and formed of hired-in Mk2 stock. No. 67030 crosses Staffords Bridge close to Exeter powering the 08.35 Exeter SD - Paddington.

As part of the Ffestiniog Railways 175th Anniversary weekend, the public were treated to different eras in the railway's history. Victorian (Saturday), 1920s (Sunday) and 'The 60s' (Monday). On Monday, 28 May 2007, volunteer Michelle Littleford poses as a Jean Shrimpton lookalike on the front of 1863-vintage Palmerston, in Harbour station, Porthmadoc.
