| Although built with a cast numberplate in true GW style, by the time this picture of No. 15102 was taken at Swindon a standard painted number was applied. In body style all seven locos followed the 'standard' BR design 0-6-0. J Nesbitt. |

| Painted in standard all-over black livery, No. 15107 is seen with its cast number at Swindon just after completion. The large lion on wheel logo on the bodyside door is larger than applied to other locos of the period. As will be seen from the buffer beam, this loco did not have train brakes, nor electric front and rear lights. CJM Collection. |
