CLASS 334

This fleet is one of the 'Juniper' range offered from Alstom, the fleet are currently being delivered to ScotRail for service on the Ayrshire coast routes thus displacing other units to withdraw the Class 303s. Serious problems have surrounded the entry into service of this fleet, which at the end of 2001 were still far from operating at the desired performance level.
The three car sets with high quality interiors even though a little cramped are painted in Strathclyde maroon and cream livery.
