CLASS 442 'Wessex'

Built in 1988-89 by BREL as replacement stock for the Waterloo-Bournemouth
line and to coincide with the electrification through to Weymouth. The
24 5-car sets are based on the body structure of the Mk3 loco hauled and
HST coach, but are fitted with sliding plug doors. |
