Chiltern Railways and the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre have teamed up to offer another chance to travel by train on the "freight-only" line from Aylesbury to Quainton Road.

This coming Bank Holiday, Monday 27 August, Chiltern will be operating the classic heritage diesel "Bubblecar" on hourly shuttle train services between the two stations.

Alight at Quainton Road for the Buckinghamshire Railway Cente, which is ideal for rail enthusiasts and a great day out for the kids. The railway centre certainly has something for everyone, where you can enjoy a show of veteran and vintage trains, bikes, commercial and military vehicles.

Combined rail and admission tickets can be bought from Aylesbury station and are priced £12.00 for an adult and £9.00 for a Child or Senior.

The first train departs Aylesbury for the 20 minute journey to Quainton Road at 10:10 and every hour at xx:10 until 17:10. The hourly train services from Quainton Road to Aylesbury depart at xx:40, the first train being at 10:40 and the last train at 17:40.
