| New door to door luggage service for Hull Trains passengers
|
Hull Trains has launched an innovative new service meaning passengers travelling to and from London will no longer have to worry about lugging their luggage from place to place. This new venture in association with Carrymyluggage will enable both business and leisure passengers to have their luggage collected from their home or office prior to departure and delivered to their destination ready for their arrival. The new luggage delivery service is based on a 'next business day service' and currently operates from Monday to Friday with prices starting from as little as £22.00 one way. Hull Trains customers can receive a further discount on the production of a special promotional code. Bookings can be made via the link on the Hull Trains website – www.hulltrains.co.uk or by contacting the reservations team on 0845 009 0362. David Townend, sales & marketing director of Hull Trains said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this new service to our customers. We are constantly looking for new ways to make travelling to and from London easier for our customers and we hope that our new partnership with Carrymyluggage will make travelling on the train even more appealing.” Carrymyluggage was formed in 2004 and is targeted to deliver in excess of 10,000 items by the end of 2007. Their partnership with Hull Trains was born out of desire to allow rail travellers to make the most of their short break or visit by reducing the need for them to struggle carrying heavy and bulky items allowing them to relax and enjoy themselves the minute they board the train. Simon Huxford, managing director of Carrymyluggage said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer our door to door luggage service to Hull Train customers. Our clients to date have experienced a much more relaxing journey by not having to travel with luggage and we are confident that Hull Trains customers will welcome the opportunity to enjoy a less stressful travelling experience.” |
