Withdrawn Freightliner Class 47 No. 47270 Cory brothers, has been saved for preservation. The loco arrived by road from Crewe at Wansford on the Nene Valley Railway on 5 June 2007. Restoration will now commence but the loco which is privately owned is understood to be in good condition. The original Cory Brothers nameplates have been left applied.
