Next batch of DRS Class 66s under production

At least three of the order of ten Class 66s for DRS have been seen in the works yard to the rear of the EMCC plant in London, Ontario, Canada. Local enthusiasts report these to be 66421, 66422 and 66423, all are painted in DRS livery.

It is understood that the DRS order will be delivered in two parts 4 around 14 August and six around the first week of September. The locos are likely to arrive in the UK via ABP Newport and be railed to Carlisle for commissioning.
