A recent comment by FGWs Managing Director confirms the speculation that the 14 Class 180 DMUs are to be retained by the operator after the planned December 2007 return to the lease owner. With passenger growth, prolonged HST refurbishment and the handing back of more Class 150s and 158s will see a full demand the the 180 fleet.
