Buffer stop collision at Sherringham

Rail services on the Cromer - Sherringham line in Norfolk on 10 October 2007, after the 10.45 from Norwich to Sherringham, formed of Class 156 No. 156418 collided with the buffer stops. Four passengers who were slightly injured were treated by emergency service staff.

One Railway said services between Cromer and Sheringham would be disrupted until further notice while an investigation is carried out, with buses replacing trains between Cromer and Sheringham.
