Three Bridges refurbishment

Work on the £95,000 refurbishment of the ticket office and booking hall has now been completed at Southern’s Three Bridges station.

Passengers at the station have been using temporary facilities while the work was carried out over a period of 10 weeks, but now, resplendent in a new décor, the booking hall has the following new features:

* Two new low-level ticket office windows which allow wheelchair users to buy tickets with ease
* Two new sets of automatic entrance doors
* New flooring
* New wall panelling

Southern’s commercial director Jan Chaudhry said: “The booking hall area at Three Bridges station was clearly due for a refit and we are very pleased with the outcome. Passengers with luggage and/or small children, and wheelchair users will certainly benefit from these improvements, and it makes for a very pleasant environment for all.”
