Network Rail level crossing collision Monday 21 August

On Monday 21 August a controlled level crossing collision between a Class 31 No. 31107 and a road vehicle will take place at Hibaldstow Crossing between Brigg and Kirton Lindsey as part of the ongoing Network Rail 'Level Crossing - Don't take the Risk' advertising campaign to try and stop people crossing rail lines when barriers are lowering or down. The Class 31 has been slightly modified to remove some lower body skirt panels. The loco is painted in a black livery with full yellow ends and a grey roof. No. 31107 was delivered by road from Derby to Barnetby where it is parked all this weekend under a strict guard. The loco will be taken onto the test area around dawn on Monday 21 August. FM Rail No. 31233 will also be assisting with this demonstration accident
