'one' unveils Anglia in Bloom train

'one' - the operator of rail services throughout the east of England - is continuing its sponsorship of Anglia in Bloom in 2006, by unveiling a train brightened up with a floral tribute!

The train, which has been decorated with flowers, will operate on services between Norwich and Great Yarmouth/Lowestoft, Norwich and Sheringham, as well as local trains to and from Ipswich.

During the summer, Anglia in Bloom judges have been out and about visiting hundreds of villages, towns and cities in the region assessing their entry in to 2006 competition. Entrants will be judged on their efforts to promote sustainability, their involvement with the community, care for the environment and horticultural excellence. The winners in many different categories will be announced at the grand awards ceremony to be held in September.

Martin Dean, 'one' sales and marketing director, said: "We are pleased to be associated with an event as prestigious and worthwhile as Anglia in Bloom". Anglia in Bloom really makes a difference and places care of the environment high on its list of objectives. We are environmentally friendly and serve many of the places that enter Anglia in Bloom. We are delighted be able to put something back into the community".

Sue Hacon, Chair of Anglia in Bloom Executive, said: "It is wonderful to have 'one' on board again this year and by unveiling this train 'one' have shown their commitment and support once again".
