From the end of service on Saturday 9 December First Great Western (Wessex) will see a reduction in their 'local' train fleet size with eight Class 150s going off lease and being handed to Arriva Trains Wales. The sets involved are: 150230/236/240/241/242/251/253/254.

On South West Trains the change round of stock involving ex TransPennine Express Class 158s being transferred to Salisbury via a General Overhaul at Wabtec Doncaster has seen the following sets officially renumbered, but apart from No. 159102 the others are yet to enter service.:
