New passenger waiting shelter at Halesworth

A joint partnership between ‘one’ Railway and Suffolk County Council, at a cost of £7,500 (with a £2,500 contribution from Suffolk County Council) has seen a new customer waiting shelter installed at Halesworth.

The provision of a new shelter is a welcome development and the joint investment between ‘one’, Suffolk County Council and the East Suffolk Line Community Rail Partnership further demonstrates the commitment of ‘one’ and the East Suffolk Line Partnership in delivering customer improvements at stations.

Clive Morris, ‘one’ Rural business director, said “This scheme shows our continuing commitment to delivering improvements for our customers. A joint investment approach with our partners, including Suffolk County Council and the East Suffolk Line Community Rail Partnership, can help to deliver both customer and service improvements for stations and customers along the East Suffolk Line.”
