Cut-price weekend rail travel for First Great Western season ticket holders

First Great Western is offering season ticket holders the chance to get out and about with their families and friends at the weekend with a special offer of discounted rail travel.

The offer gives customers with season tickets (valid for one month or longer) the chance to travel anywhere on the First Great Western network with one additional adult and up to four children at special cut-price rates. The offer is open for travel on any Saturday or Sunday until 18 March 2007.

Each adult (the season ticket holder plus one other) can travel for £10 Standard Class or £20 First Class day return. Each child (up to four children) travels for £5 Standard Class or £10 First Class day return. Tickets are valid for use anywhere on the First Great Western network.

Anne-Marie Delrosa, Marketing Manager at First Great Western, says: "This excellent offer gives busy commuters the chance to make the most of their leisure time with family and friends and get out and about across our entire network for a special discounted rate. The weekends were made for leisure and pleasure, so why wait for the summer holidays for a great day out."

Tickets for this special offer are available from all staffed First Great Western stations. Further information for customers from www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk or 08457 000 125.
