The Mainland Europe EWS operation Euro Cargo Rail has taken on the lease of two additional Vossloh B-B diesel-hydraulic locomotives. This time the model is G1000 which is of the same basic outline to the previous G 1206 units. The latest two examples, registered with Euro Cargo Rail in Paris are works Nos. 5001610 and 5001611, operating as Vossloh FB1610 and FB1611. At this stage it is not certain if these will be given UK numeric identities, but if they are issued they will be 21610 and 21611.

In England two ex-BR Class 08s Nos. 08738 and 08939 have been outshopped from EWS Toton depot in all-over grey livery and branded for Euro Cargo Rail. The pair have been equipped with multiple working and are expected to depart from the UK soon.
