No smoke on Southern after 1 July 2007

Parliament has passed new legislation to protect people in England from the harmful effects of passive smoking. The Smoke-Free Regulations 2007 become law on Sunday 1 July 2007.

On this date, Southern will introduce a smoking ban on all its premises, including waiting rooms, platforms, footbridges, underpasses and concourse areas.

For the health and convenience of all passengers and staff, Southern is asking all station users to respect the law.
