Trainseurope store opens at Cambridge

Simon Calder, the respected travel journalist joined members of ‘one’ railway staff at Cambridge railway station on Friday 13 October 2006, to officially open the new Trainseurope store.

Customers using the Trainseurope store at Cambridge station, can purchase tickets for train travel throughout Europe and the world as well as hotel accommodation and car hire. The store is the latest addition to the retail portfolio at Cambridge station which already offers customers WH Smith, Marks and Spencer’s, AMT Coffee, Upper Crust, Delice De France and Swiss Laundry dry cleaners.

The new Trainseurope store is also ideally placed at Cambridge station for the large student market that resides in Cambridge.

Commenting on the opening of the Trainseurope store, Stuart Towler ‘one’ West Anglia Retail Manager said: “We’re delighted that Trainseurope has opened a store at Cambridge station and that Simon Calder officially opened it. This opening extends the retail choice for customers at Cambridge and can help to encourage greater use of the rail travel network”.
