FGW run extra service for Wales v Brazil match on 5 September

Brazil play Wales at White Hart Lane, in London, on the evening of Tuesday 5 September and First Great Western with the Brazilian Football Confederation (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) are laying on an extra, late night train service from London Paddington to Cardiff, for football fans returning from the international friendly match.

The extra service leaves London Paddington at 23.35, calling at Newport at 02.01 and Cardiff Central station at 02.26.

The timing of this additional Cardiff service should give fans plenty of time to travel from the match venue, Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane ground in north London, to London Paddington in the west of the city.

Phil West, First Great Western's Supplementary Services and Special Events Manager, says: "We're hoping thousands of fans will make the journey from Wales to London to witness something which should be a real soccer spectacle. We've worked closely with the Brazilian Football Confederation to provide an additional late night service to help fans get home to Wales after the football."

This match is set to be an exciting game with both managers fielding full strength squads giving fans a chance to see the likes of Ronaldinho, Robinho, Kaka, Giggs and Bellamy in action.

Tickets for the match are still available from Tottenham Hotspur's website http://www.seatbooker.net/thfc/viewbyattr.html, or by calling the Ticket Office on 0870 420 5000.
