Chiltern Leaf Fall Timetable starts from Sunday 1 October 2006

Following a request from London Underground, Chiltern Railways special leaf fall timetable on the line via Amersham will now start on Sunday 1 October, 1 week earlier than published in printed timetable booklets and posters.

Services FROM Aylesbury TO London will depart the following stations up to 3 minutes earlier than they do at present: Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville, Wendover, Great Missenden, Amersham, Chalfont & Latimer, Chorleywood and Rickmansworth
Services FROM London Marylebone TO Aylesbury will arrive Aylesbury 3 minutes later than at present.

From Sunday 8 October, all other Chiltern Railways services will be timetabled to arrive at their final destination 3 minutes later than at present.

The special leaf-fall timetable is introduced to allow drivers more time to brake safely at a time of year when the tracks can become very slippery with leaf mulch.
