Changes to West Country tickets

The Devon Railcard and The Cornish Railcard were withdrawn from sale on Saturday 9 September 2006. A new product named "The Devon & Cornwall Railcard" an attractive blue ticket with The Royal Albert Bridge in the background as now been launched to replace the previous two railcards, costing £10 per year without a photocard, but proof of address is needed when purchasing to show the owner lives in Devon or Cornwall.

The Devon & Cornwall Railcard offers the holder 1/3 off tickets any stations west of Tiverton Parkway and Axminster through to Penzance and on all branch lines in the area.

Railcard Discount is offered on Cheap Day Singles / Cheap Day Returns and Saver Singles / Saver Returns only. Also eligible for 1/3 off are the Devon & Cornish Rangers.

The railcard new railcard differs from the old ones, as the card hold can take an adult companion for the 1/3 discount too! Also, you can take up to four children at a flat fare fare.
