Upgrade for Silverlink Class 150s

Class 150/1 No 150131 Leslie Crabbe is the first of the Silverlink fleet of Sprinters to have received a major mechanical and electrical overhaul and a repaint at Wabtec, Doncaster. The interior has also been refurbished but locally at East Ham Depot. The pristine unit stands at Gospel Oak on 15 September 2006, about to run a special for media and stakeholders as the 12.33 to Barking and back. The previous mauve upper portion of the livery now has a more blueish tint than previously, akin to the colour of Transport for London, probably not a coincidence.
