From 30 September, passengers will need to get to the station up to 5 minutes earlier if using the following trains/routes: Guildford via Cobham, between Windsor and Staines and between Reading and Virginia Water and the first few trains from Poole, Portsmouth, Haslemere, Salisbury or Weymouth.
Train times on some services will be subject to change from 30 September. This is to allow for trains that may run at a slightly reduced speed to account for leaf fall. Leaves that fall on the track can become compressed by the weight of the train which can in turn make the tracks more slippery than usual, giving the effect of black ice. The leaf fall period lasts from end of September through to early December.
